Default Introduction - Helibug RPM Sensor mount

I see a lot of questions about how to mount governor sensors on gas helicopter engines.

Normally I just use a Stator Gator which just plugs in but not everybody wants to use those

here's a little idea from Helibug that lets you mount your RPM sensor near the magneto magnets on the Zenoah RC engine.

This version won't work if you have the PUH engine format and it may not work for every type of sensor. Seems to work for the Futaba sensors though

Default spektrum sensor

spectrum rpm sensor on Zenoah rc290. align with crank centre and adjust distance from case for correct rpm . too close will give twice the rpm. works perfectly.
