Default 2012 Fresno Heli Fun Fly June 1-3
The Fresno Radio Control Modelers will be having a Heli Fun Fly June 1-3. Located at the FRCM field. RVs welcome no hook-ups, A/C power, and Large shaded pit with 33 carpeted tables.This is a fun fly with maximum flying.

More details to come as they get firmed up, but we are just about two months out!

Open flying Friday until about noon on Sunday. We are planning on having lunch available at the field on Saturday.

Field will be open for night flying both Friday and Saturday so bring your night rigs... I'm sure there will be some spotlighting available to for those who prefer the "redneck night flying"!

Entry fee will be $25 and will include lunch on Saturday.

Vendors and/or team pilots are welcome.

No scheduled demos, the event is for the heli pilots to get together and fly, fly, fly, and fly some more!

Proof of AMA is required for entry.

We're a couple weeks away now...

The club put the tarp up over the pits so we will have some much needed shade. As posted previously, the snack bar will be open on Saturday for lunch, usual choices of dogs, sausages, brats, etc. They always do a good job with this and there will be one lunch ticket per entry... food will also be available for purchase as well.

Shaping up to be a great weekend!

Whats a reasonable hotel to stay at near the field? Motel 6 or a step up from that.

There are a few places to stay at the north end of Fresno with plenty of food options around. I'm out of town at the moment but I'll try to get a couple of options posted tonight.
