Is the talon 120 up to the job on a trex 700 with xnova 4530/480kv

That depends on how it’s setup and how hard you fly.
 
If you don’t have extreme pitch than it will be ok. If you go +/- 15 with crazy headspeed then no.

I Have it in my 700 DFC PRO HV. I had to put a capacitor in order to help BEC to deal with HV servos, but that's more of Vbar's issue. I fly with 750MX-530kv motor and +/-12 degrees of pitch. So far so good!

After that I have also installed Talon120 into G570@12S, but with non-hv servos. All good, can't complain. Logs in ESC would be nice though.

Thanks for the feed back looked at logs from my 160 that took of to put on my goblin 700 kse and max spike are 150a and average 70a. I run 2050rpm switch 690 -/+12
