Agile 5.5 on 12s. What motor pulley?

Hey guys,

As the agile 5.5 isn't listed in mrmel's headspeed calc i was wondering wich pinion would be best to run a scorpion 4025 650kv at 12s. If even possible, as the available pinions seem limited to 20t and 21t. Maybe i'll need to go with 10s...
Does anybody know what main gear tooth count i need to enter for the agile 5.5?

The gear count is same as the agile 7.2 178 t and that motor is too high a kv to run at 12s u will be getting 3000 rpm on the the 20T pulley too ....10s would be good but better option would be better to get a 560kv motor

Thanks. Then it's going to be 10s. That motor is brand new. I had it in a fusion50 on 10s so it could share packs with my logo 600. Would be a shame to buy a new motor while a brand new one is laying around.

What's the headspeed range of this heli?

2800 rpm is max I have not seen or heard anybody go beyond that ....if u want better tail authority below 2400 u need to have 95 mm or 105 mm tail blades ...this bird was made for high head speed that's y the low tail gear ratio

No would go 560kv range motor for 12s you need a 4025-560 size motor this is referring to the stator size and then the kv of the motor.

If there comes an agile it's going to be 10s with the 4025 650. That's certain. I'm not going to waste a perfectly good motor laying around. If i didn't have that motor already, i would simply go with a 6s setup.

kenny just a suggestion see if could sell the 660kv and go for a 560kv or a 1100kv if u want 6s or anybody that needs an exchange ...because the 660kv 10s and gearing may affect the performance
