Cascade Model Helicopter Club's annual fun fly, in Snohomish, WA, has drawn people from all over the pacific Northwest and beyond, it is sure to do the same this year, our 19th.
Dry camping on site is available. AMA is required. Registration opens Friday AM. Lots of open flying, some demos, and assorted contests such as balloon bust, autos, and drag racing. Don't forget the night flying, bring your lights!

Todd Bennett's FreeStyle 3D school will be held on July 28th and 29th before the start of the Fun Fly. See the latest information at: www.cascademodelheli.org
Please plan to arrive at the field for camping no earlier than Wed. July 28th. No campers will be allowed on the field Mon. or Tues. so we can mow, sweep, and put down the lines and put up the fences.

Also no open flying on the northern flight lines will be permitted during the FreeStyle School classes on Wed. or Thur. (usually 10am to 6pm). The southern flight area however, will be available.

Club rules state no pets at the field, we realize some people cannot come to camp and leave their pet at home alone. Please be aware if you bring a pet, it must be under control (inside camper, leashed) at all times.

The road to the field has been "smoothed", still no freeway, but better and the brush on each side has been trimmed back. CMHC club members, remember setup day is on Tues. Mowing, weed whacking, line painting, and fencing is planned. If you can help, we'll be there from 10:00 AM to ???. Wed. and Thur. is 3d Freestyle school day and flying is permitted on the south field. Camping at the field opens Wed. The weather is looking great for the event. See you there.

Is Matt Botos attending the event? I cannot stay the entire weekend, what would be the best day to come to see him fly?

At the Cascade RC Helicopter Club Annual Fun Fly, legendary professional RC Pilot and designer Jason Krause was demonstrating 'Precision Autorotations' - to a small table! All went very well - for the first two attempts. Then, ecouraged to make the third time "a charm," the table was about 1 inch too narrow.
