Hi,
The genius is a micro heli, the V120 is larger. They are different class helis.

If you want a 3D capabile 120 size heli, then you'd want the V120D02S which is currently the best 120 size CP heli by Walkera.

If you want a micro 3D heli, then the Genius is the way to go.

If you want to fly indoors, go for the micro. If you want to fly in your backyard, get the 120.

But note, the larger the heli, the easier it will break when you crash, so the Genius is more rugged.

If you're looking for something that's more durable in a crash, go with the genius cp and fly it over a grassy area. The V120D02S will be ok in a crash, but it is larger than the Genius so it will break more.

Genius CP - 100-size collective pitch (3D capable)
V120D01 - 120-size fixed pitch (no 3D)
V120D02(S) - 120-size collective pitch (3D capable)

The collective pitch machines are meant for 3D. Fixed pitch can't perform like collective pitch does, but they're more stable, so are easier for a beginner. Collective pitch machines are more agile and twitchy, thus less stable by nature.

If you are getting a Devo radio, I would get the Mini CP. It is much more easier to hover and fly slowly than the Genius CP and is more 3D capable. The combined main frame and skids of the Genius CP is a big nuisance.
