Default what servos for the 250

OK,
So it's clear that it's comming very soon,
Does anybody have any idea what will be the servos for this little machine?

I'm sure it will be something smaller than HS65,

As for the tail I think there won't be too many choices,
Gyro : something small and good ( spartan or Align gp700)
tail Servo: it looks like they will be the same choices as the bigger brother ( 3400/3500 - 9257 )

We must start preparing the electronics before this thing hits the shelves

Default Tail Sevo

The best tail servo for size and weight will probably be the JR 290G. I would guess.

Thats the best tail servo for the gaui 200.

hopefully i can switch my complete gaui 200 servo/gyro/tail servo set up over.
im using
hs 45s on cyclic
jr 290g tail servo
gy401

provides a pretty damn locked feel on the gaui- and that tail truly sucks
so i have high hopes for this 200 align.

The size specs for the servos that Align is using are almost the same as the HS65's.
Size 22.8*12*29.4
Weight 15.8g
Speed 0.16 (4.8V)
Torque 3.1 (4.8V)
Speed 0.13 (6V)
Torque 3.9 (6V)

Which means that just about any micro servo will work.

I'll be using the DS287's

I'll be stealing the DS287's from my Beam when the T-Rex 250 comes out and put some Ino-lab servos in the Beam.

For the gyro, I'll be going with Logictech 2100T combo.

cba, I think your tail servo would be too large.. I mean, that's oversized even in a 450!

Good setup otherwise... Those 287's are going to be very nice in that heli. I would recommend a JR DS290G to go with them ;]

Personally, I will run 287's (if they fit, I'm not sure they will) or HS-45HB's, Spartan, 290G, and the Scorpion brushless motor for this size (I forget the series, 4098 or something)

I will be going 65MG's, 3154 or Robbe FS61BB tail servo and a CSM SL420e gyro. Cant wait!

Yea, would love to see the cost myself too.

I'm going to follow you guys around and do what you're doing because I have no idea what else to buy for this once it comes in.

let's see $210 bucks for kit, hs-65 mg $35 x3 gy401 $150, tail servo $50 up for a good one. then rx, mine for my gaui200 was $50, but that depends on what radio you have.

210+105+150+50= $515 and say a $50 tail servo is $565 but then again that's would be how much it cost me, depends on what you want for servo's, gyro, and rx so your's may cost more or less

401 sounds immense! I think it's too big for the TREX, and considering how much better the Spartan is anyway?

Align GP700 gyro will be one of the best choices as well.
It's holding the 700 extremly good, so it will do the same on 250 I say

is that the case though? I would say its easyier to hold the tail of a large .90 than a 250 class heli. Not that its a bad gyro and I may try it myself. we will see.

if you want to buy it once, than i think the spartan is the way to go.
but what i have seen with some local pilots the gp700 is as good as spartan.

I hope so as I might be able to get my hands on one, unlike the Spartan
