Default RMJ Trex 700N V3 Conversion

This heli has been flown as a prototype in aluminium for a while now but the carbon frames have now arrived so here it is as a finished product. Carbon is 2.15mm thick, super rigid and the weave and finish on the carbon is as good as it gets.
So you can now turn your ageing 700 nitro pro by adding only the V3 DFC electric bearing blocks (or a V3 DFC electric if you add the nitro running gear) into a direct to swash fully up to date nitro which imho is what Align should've done with the nitro DFC in the first place.
Really good stuff from Maj and Rob @ RMJ.

This is certainly interesting. Can you post a link for purchase?

Here's their website, drop them an email and if there's enough interest i'm sure they would get some more carbon ordered.

Nice simple design.. but, with direct to swash setup on a nitro, ends up tail heavy?
Cool to see aftermarket options still available for nitro and dedicated enthusiasts bringing new designs !

It was one of the reasons for keeping the tail servo up front but no the COG is perfect.

Neat though does not look very strong across the top.
Whats the advantage of direct to swash?

This is one of the most rigid nitros I've had yet, the carbon is over 2mm thick so is really tough.

It will help if it is visible on the website with details and price ?

Look at website, see only Raptor kits, move on.

It really is a case if there's enough interest in the frames then they would maybe get some cut, not much point without any firm interest.

Until then we will just get to enjoy the heli on a more local basis.
