How are you guys liking them on the Blade? I just did and inventory check of my stock head parts and there's really not that much left. So it maybe time to move up to Metal for me. And for THIS price, its a little hard to resist. Thanks.

Holy cow! That's CHEAPER than ever! I'm buying one of these sets to use on my CopterX so I can put off using my pricey Align even further.

I like my set. Use the trueblood dampers. Only thing I dont like is the pitch slider for the tail. It develops slop easily. Swap it out for a microheli or align v2.

How much is shipping for that head and tail set?

Ehirobo shipping is usually pretty steep.

It's $12 to Canada. About $2-$3 more than other online vendors that I have ordered from.

Actually its $8.48. I had other stuff in my cart.

I just finished installing that CopterX head from eHirobo. Delivery took 8 days to Finland, not too bad.

Installing the head took some while, I have never done anything this extensive on the head before. And I first installed the head using the CopterX main shaft... So, actually I ended up installing the head twice.

It took a good while getting the picth correct. It's still not spot on, but nearly there. Something like +10...-8. I have to work on that after I get to try this thing in action! I switced from Align 325 Pro Woodies to 325 Carbons since the woodies do not fit CopterX blade holders (and I just wanted to have the thing in one piece fast; I'll file those woodies down just a notch next weekend).

After installing the head and adjusting the pitch I did a short test run on the floor. Not hovering, just spooling up. Soon it was obvious: I had a serious vibrating issue. At 50% throttle the heli was doing nice chicken dance on my living room floor. Well, re-balanced the blades and went in for a second try. Same thing! Hard vibrations and mad chichen dance all over the floor at 30-50% throttle. Before swapping the main shaft (could have bent it while adjusting the pitch, who knows...) I decided to swap the blades from one blade holder to the other and vice verca. Guess what, that did the trick! No more vibrations. At least not so bad the landing skids would get off the ground again... We'll see what will happen when I get this thing up in the air again.

By the way, I did not install the tail from eHirobo set. I received just day before yesterday an aluminium tail from Dealextreme. Now comparing these two side by side they are exactly the same! So, I have some spare parts for the tail in case something will break. Nice.

geez, that's cheap.. I'm not to the flying level that I'd be comfy putting all that bling on my chopper, but I might go ahead and order it for when I am ready for it.. Are parts for the copter x head and tail as available or more available than the stock eflight head and tail? (I break stuff!)..
