Default Charging E-flight 6s 22.2v 2900mah

I am wondering what I need to do to get a faster charge out of my E-flight 6s 22.2v 2900mah.

It is taking about 60+ min to charge my LiPo.

My Charger is a lliTEC multi charger x4 ac plus, When charging I am putting the to 2.9A and 22.2V.

Any help to speed up the charge time would be awesome!

Thanks Guys!

You are currently charging at 1C (at 2.9A) and you can easily/safely go to 2C which would be 5.8A if your charger can handle that.
That would cut the charge time in half, approximately.

The charger would need to be rated at 6A and at least 150W in order to do that.

Your charger has 4 ports, 50W each.

You are trying to charge 6S packs, at 2.9A.

Using the fully-charged 6S voltage of 25.2V, 50W will allow a charge current of 50W/25.2V = 2.0A

Your charge current will start out a little higher (50W divided by the voltage of the pack after you fly it). If you started at 3.75V/cell, for 22.5V, you'd start around 2.2A. But as the pack charges, it will drop to 2A, even if you set it to 2.9A.

That's around 0.7C. You are power-limited with your charger. You need a more powerful charger if you want to charge faster.

At least you have 3 other ports, so you can charge 4 batteries at this same 0.7C rate, at the same time.
