* Definitely Hooked!

* My first impressions are that it is as smooth as it's supposed to be and that I was told..

Had 3 more flights today - love trying the speed runs but taking it easy also..

Next is to get governor working... increase pitch a little (currently 11.5 deg) to 13 deg and try to go FASTER!!!!!

Congrats to your first outing with this amazing chopper. I love my TDR, it is a whole new experience flying this heli. I fly at 1,650 HS governed with Jive 80HV. What was yours??

This will never die, will it

The antenna is a dipole, by covering the "ground" element you effectively reduce the sensitivity of the receiver. You just made your full range RX a park-flier (Ok maybe not quite that bad). Dipole setups dont really have an active and ground element though, both antennas help reception (even if one is technically connected to the ground on the RX chip).

You want BOTH elements in clear air, if this is too difficult on the airframe then use the CF sats (the ones with the longer antenna) as those are designed to function correctly with only the one antenna.
