Tahoe Ed,
Are you using an GPS equipment on your FPV? Or just camera and video Tx?
If you are I found you will need to seperate the Video Tx and the GPS about 14-16 inches apart from one another. Or the GPS signal will be masked by the video Tx.
Look forward to your video posting!

No GPS. There is not enough room on this platform. I may try it on one of my CP Helis.

Well I got the 330X-S and have been flying it all day. Its doing very well; I can hover very still and make fast, high-G turns and its flying like it's on rails.

I am having a problem though.
It likes to flip over if I bang the sticks around and get it at a high angle of attack.
Another issue that made it flip over; I was pretty high up and decided to see how fast I could descend. As I was falling with the props spinning at maybe 1/4 throttle, it turned over and fell in.
It seems like if Im pushing the quad as far as yanking and banking quickly, it runs the chance of flipping.

My gain is set at 26% on the gear channel on a futaba 10C. Mode is cruise.
Battery is a 3S 2200 pack.
All ESC's are calibrated one-by-one.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Matt

The brain in my quad has died.
I contacted All e rc where I purchased it and explained my problem.
This is out of warranty but Bob told me to send it back and I will get a replacement.
What great service and totally unexpected.
Customer service in this day and age, amazing but true.

Mine arrived defective and after fighting with it for 10 days, I contacted RC Hover and Empire. They are replacing it under warranty. I hope you get yours up and flying soon.

Hello friends. Need some advice please.
I have the orginal 330x (the first shipment)
2 weeks of some great flying #1 ESC went out.
I ordered, received and installed the Gau 10amp Escs.No instructions provided with the new ESCs.
All motors are turning the correct direction but it seems like they are not all running up to speed.
When I test hover, it will either flip over forward, backward, left or right. Very random on the direction it flips over.
I would set the trim a little to counter the last flip and same thing again, but a different direction???
I was very careful to make sure each ESC was swapped out perfectly with the old ESC. I have verified each motor is turning correctly.
I have calibrated and calibrated over and over, reduced my end point on my throtle to 80% after I unplug the battery. Then plug in the battery with the Tx set at 80% End Point and the same results??? I hate this! It was flying so good before this.
What is this calibrating each ESC seperately?
Thanks in advance!

Did you unplug the gain on your receiver and turn the pot switch down all the way when you did the ESC programing? You must when it go's into the programing mode move the throttle to the bottom to teach the ESC your throttle curve. I had the same problem.
The Gaui site has a updated manual that says to do it. After I did it it flew fine.
But if I use a 3S I have to do the throttle curve to the ESC's every time I change from 2S to a 3S. Now I stick to 2S unless I'm lifting something.

That is something i did not know. Thanks!
BTW, where is the updated manual? I looked at flying hobby.com web site and don't seem to see it???? Maybe you can point me out is a good direction?
Thank you

PS. I think I found it on page 16 at this location. Is this the same information you are talking about?

That is it. Remember to take off the wire and set the gain counterclockwise to zero.
Then re-set your throttle to 100%
After setting the ESC's turn the gain back to about where it was, reinsert the gain wire if you are using your transmitter to set the gain.
Lower your throttle to 80% or so and you are all set.

Thanks John.
Can't wait to get home tonight and try these steps!
BTW, I am not using the Green Gain wire. I leave it unplugged and use the pot on the brain. Been working fine for me so far.

Ok guy's been gone for awhile, but back at it again, on one of my last post I had ordered 4 12A Turginy ESC from Hobby King, well I have not been able to get my quad back in the air

And with the new S version - I should probably just buy a new one, but before doing that - has anyone had any luck with aftermarket ESC

Thanks,

FCA

PS: It's a bitch when something goes wrong, and your in risk mgmt, been busy for the last 3 months working on a project

Trim. Mine does the same thing. You have to be very careful to the the battery balanced right as well. If mine is off even a little bit, it makes it very difficult to fly.
