Default Give HH customer service a break

I haven't been able to get ahold of HH customer service for the past week. Left my call back number four times and they haven't returned my call. Never had this happen before. I figure they are swamped with P.O'd 130 owners. Is all I want is for them to send me some warranty parts. I am tired of paying for them out of pocket.

I've had super good results with the call back feature, very surprised to hear this.

Makes me think your phone might be screwed up..lol

Oh yea, normally I wait maybe one hour max waiting for a call back. Thats why it is so strange to not get one at all.

No, I don't have time to be rude. How could I anyways? I'm calling a company that brings products to me the make me happy. HH customer service is stellar in my book and have always been pleased with how helpful and nice they are.

I requested a call back at 5:30 PM last Friday so I figured I'll get a call back on Monday. Oh No! At 2 PM PST last Saturday, I received a call back from HH. The gentleman was very nice and courteous, to HH.

i had a very positive experience with them last week when dealing with my 130 X issues. the gentleman i spoke to was more than honest and was willing to work through my concerns. the end result was me being an extremely satisfied customer. i know we probably all have different experiences but mine was a great one. they pretty much reminded me why i buy horizon products!!! hang in there.

They have always called me back within a hour and have always came up with solutions to any problem. It is nice to talk to a company where you can talk to a person you can understand.Just being able to talk to a person is important.

This is kind of like "Get your mind out of the gutter! ... So that mine can float by!" haha. You are doing the same thing we are calling them!

But like all of you, my hats off to HH customer support. They seem to step up their game in the "after the sale" customer support big time.

The guys may not be present on the forums all day and night but if you call customer service on just about any issue they are awesome about just out and out replacing it or requesting you send it in and they will repair it (again free of charge for the most part) They try really hard to help you have fun with the stuff you buy from them. Just like the recording says when your on hold waiting to talk to a CS rep!

That does not sound like them at all. Something is odd there.

We may give them crap and be mad about a part but overall there is no other hobby company that does what they do with such fast access here in the states.

If you find a better one that is as big or as supportive let me know.

+1

My 130X initial experience consisted of a test hover in the hobby shop parking lot and one flight at the local soccer field. The second flight was going pretty well with a few step outs of the tail but nothing major. Seemed like all orientations were doing ok until I lost the tail. Set it down to find the crown gear on the tail separated. The dreaded boom not pushed in far enough by the harried 12 year old assembly tech I fixed that but later realized the ground wire on the tail servo had separated from the board. I was tempted to just give it back to the LHS owner who was flying with me but thought I should at least give HH the chance to live up to my past experiences with them. Did the call back thing. Got the call about an hour later and have a tail pitch slider, the bottom pin had separated, on the way. The servo is back ordered so my 130X is on the shelf for awhile. I can probably solder the wire back onto the servo so when the slider comes in I can fly again. I did have bad vibes when testing with the mains off so hopefully the new slider will fix that.

I think HH MAY have screwed the pooch with a couple of design features on this heli. It's really a little too early to make that call. Still HH service gets an A for after sale support.
