It's like #3 - low frequency vibration. My main blades are balanced (weight & CG) and the tracking is perfect but still, I have to find a way to try another set... Same for the main grips, I remembered having to 'clean' them to insert the bearings. I would like to try another set or maybe try the metal grips...

Have you checked to make sure that the center ball on the feathering spindle has not moved off center after you inserted it into the head?

I removed it on this spindle and checked all the bearings and trust bearings (again).. Did not fly it yet.

Update... With all the "type of vibration" described in this thread, it confirmed that the head must be the source of the vibration. So I spent some time at the field with electric tape and started to add pieces to the blades. Well, it did not take long to see a major improvement. I got it pretty good now and I can use higher head speeds. So even if my blades were balanced (static and dynamic), I needed to add some weight to one blade (only took 1 inch of tape in the middle of the blade) to balance the head.

Thanks for all the info
Bruno

This is also true with full scale aircraft. It is not enough to track blades, they need to be balanced as well. It is of great importance to have balanced blades opposing each other due to the dynamic nature of these machines.
