Birmingham 2016 - 22nd Anniversary!

Would have been there already, but this year 4 out of 5 gasser guys cancelled:

Larry, hospital appointment
Jim, my condolences for his brother
Ray, tax refund went elsewhere
and myself, too long to drive solo 1200 miles without Larry and Ray, and now even Jim.

Vince will be with you guys from FL, probably the only gasser guy from out of town if he does bring one, he flies electric too.

Turn some rotors for all of us, and I'll join you from here

Oh wow, yeah if your in MA that is a good haul. I guess i should be lucky im only a hour and half away ha ha.. guess i should go even if i don't fly.. just to hang out met people and watch but i am low on funds but am considering going.. i wish i had known about it sooner, my fault not for looking at the event section. i could had planed a lil better.

We are having some great weather here and the first camper from TN showed up today. There are a couple of guys from Michigan here already and some local guys have been flying and hanging out for the past few days. Don't miss this event!! The weekend forecast has greatly improved from what is was a week ago and this will be some of the best conditions we have had in the past few years.

WOW Cali, so i guess this is a HUGE event, how many pilots do yall normally have?

There are usually about 110-120 pilots at this event. Yes it is a big event.

Oh nice, well we plan to leave out in the morning, hope to be there by 9am. i sure hoping for some nice weather. so y'all walk up to me and introduce yourself. i will be wearing on of two shirts that have my username on the back of it, Chris Langley on the front.

YES, it was a awesome day, i did kinda expect to see more flying but understand it was a Friday i am sure today will be non stopped. i enjoyed it here is a slide show of pictures from yesterday. i am trying to figure out how to edit my videos into one long video, but might end up having to upload one by one. not sure how you guys do it, i woke up at 6am, left my house at 7am, got to the field at 9 our time 8 bama time and stayed until 6 left got home around 9, ate and i was passed out by 10 pm lol. sorry left when did but decided the rain was there for good, i did make it home w/o having to drive in any rain besides the rain at the field for about a mile. it was great to met everyone i met, and enjoyed talking with everyone.got to see some awesome flying.

We really appreciate everyone coming out to support this great hobby. The event was a lot of fun and we did see some amazing flying. Next year we will order even better weather so mark the dates on your calendar!!

On Friday there was a quad flying around while helicopters were, anyone know if this person will post the video online I would love to see that video. Thanks for having us, and I plan to be back next year, hope next year to fly and spend at least one night. 2days
