I wish I could go to this to meet some of the guys that have helped me out over the months I could fly there for free too!(my dad is a Southwest captain), but i have to go to summer leadership school for 4 days for JROTC and it is the same days! eeerrr!

I certainly would love to attend...however i joined the site too late to make financial arrangements and time off from work...If this turns out to be something for next year also Just a suggestion would be invite the Navy and Air Force recruiters out to do a demo of the RC community from the military....make it completely pertinent to what we're doing as RC operators / pilots / mechanics. Also being there in Hampton Roads... a great site to consider would be on Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek...Home of Navy Seals and Special warfare for the Navy....I do not have the connections i once did back when i was stationed there but i do know the base was an exceptional location for this sort of event.
