RC Booya Mounts
I was lucky enough to buy some RCBooya mounts from RCBits to try on the Aeolus 50SVN. The little packet had everything needed to fit to your Heli. The instructions are easy to follow even a small sticker that was included to place, well I put all mine on my transmitter box. I know that is one thing that will last (in a crash).
Step 1. Fit to Heli frame using locktite on the metal to metal pieces Step 2. I had to slightly drill out the hole's in Canopy to fit RCBooya Canopy grommet. Insert caopy pin into the grommet these stay in place. They are a snug fit so will not fall out. Step 3. Place canopy on an enjoy that simple. |

Care to pose a picture with these puppies mounted?
There was talk on the Belt forum as one of my friends recently dove into the 600 class with his first nitro (Trex). He mentioned these and I kinda started pondering on them myself. I find the current stock stuff on the AHF great compared to most models I've had (where the grommet split on install and normal use). My only complaint with the AHF is they tend to slip out when installing the canopy on the model (I am not gluing them... LOL). |
