Can a Beast-X go in a Contra?
I own a BlitzRC Golden Contra. I own a Spektrum DX7s. The Contra (basically a Walkera V200D02) is a flybarless. It flies great, I just don't like the TX that came with it. I'm new to this hobby, so my question is can the flybarless control, Blitz RX2440V, be replaced with the Spektrum Beast-X?
http://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/D...ID=SPMAR7200BX I love the feel of my DX7s. I have grown to hate the Blade helicopters, I question the consistency of their quality control. I tried a couple of RC hobby shops but they only know how to sell the Blades or how to fix cars. I also worked in a hobby shop & was the model railroad "go to guy" in HO & garden railway. I have rebuilt, remotored, relighted, repainted & installed digital decoders (DCC) in many an engine & cars for my fictional railroad! With DCC all decoders work on the same rail voltage & follow a standard protocall so one make will work with another's control. So any favorite decoder can go into any model engine or car & work with your favorite control. This is because not all decoders have the same lighting effects (Strobe, Beacon, Mars light, Ditch lights, ETC.) I own a MSR,120SR have flown an MCPX & attempted to fly Huey SR. I have 4 TXs including the DX7s. I would like to downsize to 1 since it can remember 20 aircraft, I don't need a TX for each a/c. A friend of mine has the same TX as me & we like the idea of Almost Ready to Fly. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! |
