Comes down to efficiency as well as size, if the gaui blades are less efficient then the KBDD's, the 5mm wont make a difference. I have 105 tails on my 700E that blow out, and 105's that hold great, the ones that don't hold, I would need 110-115mm from that manufacturer to get the same hold as the 105's from the other brand, I am not going to name any brands, but there are some that hold better than others. the airfoil makes a huge difference.

Just my 2 cents.

Yea that's a big length difference, but they may make them up in the airfoil thickness and/or shape. We used to cut down some when we couldn't find any for our 50's, but there wasn't much to choose from back then. Hacking up a set of CF tail blades was scarey the first few times!

Thanks for alerting me to ClubHeli.com! I'll have to go get an order put in now...

anybody want to be the test pilot and try out the 40mm KBDD's? Love to hear the results. My X2 is currently on the bench waiting for me to install some new servos.

i dont know if the new ones are the same as the old kbdd rex 250 blades

which are here
http://helidirect.com/kbdd-40mm-neon...00-p-27376.hdx

the ones in that link are the ones i had, and they fit the gaui 200.

maybe kbdd did make new ones ,

Just added a slew of SKU#'s that are now stocked, still a few more to come, but we're waiting on the distributor to replenish their inventory.

Thanks again for all the responses guys!

I believe I'm going to abandon my 5 week search/wait and have put the X2 up forsale in the E-Heli section.

There just seems to be an overwhelming amount of Gaui parts that stay out of stock quite a while when depleated. I've been doing this a long time now and since I just got back in the hobby...the last thing I want to keep me from flying are parts.

It will be a good deal to someone!
