Default Is co-axial heli possible new generation of FPV heli

Will co-axial heli become new generation of FPV heli
Big Co-axial heli such as this became available
http://www.helipal.com/walkera-lama-...l-edition.html
One of biggest issue in FPV heli flying is that pilot needs good experience
of position awareness, which make FPV heli very hard for many of newbie.
by Offering ridiculous level of stable and balance fly characteristic with co-axial setup,
in nature it should be ideal design for heli FPV flying. One axial design also should outpaced
tri-copter in terms of efficiency.
Any one tried it?

Interesting chopper.

Stability has little to do with position but more with orientation and level.

It's quite easy to level the heli in FPV by keeping your eye on the horizon and orientation is pretty much a snap since the heli always faces in one direction.

The challenge of FPV is judging speed and altitude - which whether you are using a single, coaxial, tri or quad copter will be the same.

Oh and as a side note:
The biggest challenge of FPV is getting the right equipment that gives you the best range with the best signal reception.

This thing is collective pitch AND co-axial, and yet... they still need the flybar? Two flybars, in fact. So many things to go wrong, so many conflicting forces. I can't imagine how this thing would perform.

Honestly it looks like it's going to get expensive... I had a CX2 and crashed it a fair amount (now as a collective pitch flyer, I don't quite understand how flying a coax was so difficult back then...). Getting the flybar straight and keeping 2 mainshafts straight was a pain. I can only imagine how much harder that will be with essentially a 450 class co-ax. It looks like a neat product that has a niche, and I bet you'll be able to find quite a few of them used/crashed for sale since beginners (the target audience of such a helicopter) will likely not have the skills to properly repair it.

What I don't like about coaxials, the fly bar flies the upper rotor, I fly the bottom rotor.

When I say to the bottom rotor "go", the top rotor says "maybe", then says "whoa".

It is not good for steady forward flight like that.

If they make a large coaxial and i get to fly both rotors, I'd consider it. Until then, no way

My biggest problem with coaxial was wind - but that was with the Blade CX2. Not sure how the bigger ones handle, maybe it's not an issue...

This is the bit I find confusing - so many options for frequency and power combos. I would have thought that everyone experiences the same range / reception with the same FPV gear, so is it not possible to nominate a setup that works for everyone?
