Rodneyk/Frequency-

Many thanks for the feedback and link. Lots of good information in the other thread for sure. I'm a bit still on the fence but mainly because of the direct to swash on the N7 which I love but a 600 size is just easier to cart around for quick flights. I have a smaller car and although the 700 will fit it requires back seats to come down.

I love my N7, no doubt about it. But my N5c still remains my all time favorite helicopter. The 55 is very fuel friendly, the frames are stupid tough. I have stuffed my N5 head first, tail first, skids first, you name it. Frames have always survived. The Bell Cranks may seem more difficult to setup but I find the flexibility in servo resolution setup to be awesome! Plus if you are going to have a daily beater, the bell cranks offer a built in layer of servo protection. You are more likely to bend a push/pull arm than strip and damage the servos.

I have the same concerns for daily transit. I can put 3 700s in the back of my daily driver if I give up the back seat. If I want to keep it in the trunk concealed from prying eyes and have a back seat for the family, the N5c is fits perfectly.

If you are on the fence, the N5c is a very good option.

Thank you Chris... Just what I was looking for to put me over the edge.

N5c TT it is. I was looking at both of these motors, any suggestions one over the other?

I have flown both motors. Equal in power if you ask me. I leaned toward the OS because parts seemed easier to find there for a while. First nitro you are going to burn things up once or twice, it's part of the learning curve, and I didn't want to be stuck down without parts.

That being said, I am being told now that YS parts are back in stock so that issue may no longer be relevant.

Ive heard on the OS 55 the non Regulated version is more reliable. I have never flown the regulated 55 so I can only speak for the non regulated which for me has been awesome. once tuned i dont need to touch the needles unless im changing altitudes and it starts up first try every single time. Could anyone weigh in on the OS 55 HZ-R?
