Default Skookum SK-720 ?

Does this also do flight stabilization? Anybody have it?

I'm thinking about going FBL with my other Furion 450 and this sounds like an all in one, including gyro and Rx!... Is it too good to be true?

I believe that is Skookum entry to go up against the Mikado VBar, not aware that it does flight stabilization as such like Helicommand or Co-PilotII

Hey Nightflyr, this is from their description:

..."For beginners or those learning 3D, the SK-720’s built-in 3-axis accelerometer means you can set it to self-level, like a coaxial heli. This feature can be turned on full time, dialed down as your skills improve, or set to bail you out at the flick of a switch....

Interesting..seems that that would be in line with the Helicommand RIGID.... But considering H/C is release the "Extreme", I wonder why SK would do what already is on the market

I would have thought that Skookum would have tried a VBar variant.....

Seems thing will be getting very interesting in the near future,

Lets hope for a price war

I have been looking into this unit for my next bird, The self level function works just like HC Horizontal mode, But this unit does not offer position mode.

However with a GPS module to be released something in the future, and depending on the price, one could end-up with a unit that is comparable to HC Profi at a fraction of the price.

This will be on my next heli.

Hope this helped,

FCA

Got a few minutes to read up on the SK-720, very interesting system, though before I would jump in and preorder one..( did that for 3G..now waiting for a firmware update so the tail stops kicking out).

I would let it simmer on the market for a month or two to see if SK worked all the gremlins out of their new design.

Default SK-720

Better discuss this unit in Skookum Robotic forum rather than posted wrong perception about it.
