TDR & Vbar Throttle curves and Gov

Hi All,
I would appreciate some advise re my TDR/Vbar setup.
I have a Futaba T8FG TX with an R6208SB RX. (Sbus) My Motor is a Pyro 700-52 with a Knotronic Helijive currently in Mode 6. The Gyro is a Fullsize blueline Vbar 5.2 Pro. My flying style is just hovering around and a few figure 8's ect. However, I am retiring so hope to have more time to improve and will purchase a cheap heli to practice with. Also have a sim.

My questions are as follows:
Should I run flat throttle curves. (At this stage I only use normal mode as I have no need for different modes and intend to run approx 1450 HS)
Am I better to run the Vbar Gov or just stick with the ESC.

Always run flat throttle lines with a governor.

Use the excellent HJ governor, its simpler to set up than a VBAR gov and with your style of flying will be as good.
