Default FPV while staying cool?
Hello,
Ok, I live in Florida and it is topping 109 F. As much as I love the outdoors I would rather cruise the skies from the comforts of my car with the cool breeze of my AC blowing on me. I have a DX7 and am wondering is it easy enough to just extend the ant cable out and add a suction cup to the ant and place it on my roof? How much would the exterior of the car block or decrease the signal/range. I am flying a heli so I am not looking for extended range persay just want to beable to stay cool and not crash at the same time.

Any insight would be great!

There is a thread on this on rcgroups. You should have no problem on extending your antenna. While you're at it, may as well add a booster too. I don't use 2.4 so I can't help you much there.
