hi guys,im sorta new to all this.ive just tried to set up a Spartan gyro and the tail is reversed.ive tried reversing the rudder which then the servo only works one way.WHAT CAN I DO TO SORT THIS OUT!!!!!!!!! GETTING PI**ED OFF NOW LOL BEEN SITTING HERE ALL AFTERNOON,THANKS

This gyro is very easy to setup. First you must have the servo operating in the proper direction.

Page 5 says to adjust the rudder direction reversing in your transmitter. This is the rudder channel. You need to know, for your particular model, which direction gives right rudder and which gives left rudder.

You need to set this properly, as when you get into the gyro's programming to set the gyro reversing, the programming will set it for you based upon you moving your transmitter stick to the left. If you have the channel in the wrong direction in your transmitter, when you get into gyro programming and move the rudder stick to the left, the gyro compensation will be set in the wrong direction as well.

hi thanks for the reply.I reversed the rudder on the tx,started again in rate mode and now the rudder is in the right direction but only works in hh mode and if I click onto rate mode the slider moves right over to the right instead of centering and I then get no left rudder movement?????????????

Sounds like something is wrong in your mechanical setup.

Make sure you have no sub trim or trim on the Rudder channel.

Make sure the mechanics are setup as shown in the manual I linked.

If you can show a video of what you're experiencing that would help A LOT.

so shall I recenter the tail servo in another channel then try again right from the start??? servo works fine when the servo is the wrong way around lol, sorry for this lol

what I should of said was when the rudder is the wrong way around hh and rate mode all work as it should do butnow ive reversed the servo so that the rudder is working correctly and set up again rate mode has no left tail input if that makes sense

thanks for your help ive sorted it now.When my mate was over here he moved the trim to centre the servo horn,now I looked but I didn't realize that if I look at the monitor screen you can see if its centre or not and it wasn't.now its centre I set it up again and alls good thank god,thanks again and sorry for being THICK LOL.
