If you are flying with a RJX 600 or 700 size head and were looking for a softer set O-ring dampeners...

I located these at the local Home Depot

They are the same size as the original RJX dampeners but softer

RJX on the right
Home Depot on the left

Fits the head and feathering shaft same as the originals.
As soon as the rain stops going to test them out

I have an RJX FBL head in the basement for my 700, but I went back to FB when it got here from the guy I bought it from. I will probably have to go FBL at some point, so this info is appreciated...

RJX actually does sell softer dampers but they're typically only carried by shops that sell RJX helicopter kits.

Well this then will save that trouble, add to the fact you can get them the same day and I'm willing to wager for a cheaper price..

You can also get O rings of all different sizes and durometers at McMaster Carr. I have used them several times. Cheap and you get a lot of them.

The stock RJX head dampers come in 90 durometer and 70 durometer. Most o-rings you find at the hardware store are 70 durometer.

RJX head dampers are id. 7.5mm id. od. 14mm while #31 O-rings are id. 7.93mm od. 14.28mm.
