Ive been having an issue with me choppers both my trex's 450 FB and 550 FBL having slight backward drift. Found in my DR/expo screen on ele channel i have a consistent -1 on the output.... preoblem found but how do i fix this? im runnin airware. 1.04 or whatever the newest is!

thats normal. I think 3 of my channels say -1. But they ALWAYS say -1 which is the good part. But if you think that could be the issue (might be?) you can calibrate the sticks and that should fix it. I haven't done it, but I know its in the manual and in the menus.

Use a blank channel without any sub-trims, trims, etc.linear pitch and throttle curves. Rx does not have to be on. Do the stick calibration, then switch back to the original model and see if that works.
