Default Sun shade for Screen>

Any tips to make a simple sun shade / viewing tube (or whatever you want to call it) for an LCD screen.

I though at the most basic a cardboard box with the bottom cut out and painted black!
Anything else more elegant?

And now for some smilies....

See my thread from last year, especially post number seven. Obviously it's not the only way to do it, but it works for me and my 7" LCD.

Black foam core board, available at most art supply stores. Two thicknesses available here.

Hi savage. I am trying to find a bigger better monitor that doesn't go blue screen when my video signal gets fuzzy. Its hard to find one that our fpv guys have tried and works for our needs. Sounds like you got a winner with your blackmore monitor. Which model is that? I need one or any monitor that won't drop out on me while I'm so far out. Any suggestions would be nice. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I'm looking but can't find that one. Maybe they quit making that one. I'll keep looking.
