Default Ar7200bx need help before first flight. Trex 600n

Hey guys I set up my ar7200bx via manual and get blue light at 6.5 degrees I figured that was close enough after searching the forums. What I'm worried about is when I exit all set up menus I get very little movement from my swash servos (ds610) and very little swash sensor leveling. My only experience is with a sk720 that has major movement and swash sensor leveling compared to this ar7200bx. I contacted HH they told me to fly it and see????. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Are you getting slow movement with stick input or slow movement as they return? A slow return is normal after you let go of the sticks.

Just to verify, you went through all the steps including your cyclic limits?

I'm getting slow movements with stick inputs and slow return to level. I have gone threw all steps multiple times , it seems to act normal when I'm in menu I but when I exit it slows back down.

When it's in set up mode it basically mimics (in certain steps) the same as when it would be in flight and once your out of set up mode it is basically sensing the way it should then. If you have verified your pirouette optimization and verified that the swash counters which way you tilt the heli by hand then I agree, it's time for a test flight.

One thing you can watch for is while you start to spool up, keep an eye on the swash. If for some reason you see it jumping around erratically or push hard in one direction then don't go any further or take off and consider sending it in to Horizon to review but if it appears steady with minimal correction, pop it in the air.

Of course in the end, if you're totally uncomfortable, you can always just send it in for a look over to be safe and aside from turn around time you won't be any worse off.

Thanks for the info. I'm prob getting less than 2 degrees of swash correction when I hold the Heli at a 90 up angle, just seems like it should try and correct more? I guess will find out. Thanks again.
