Question Longer battery options? possible mod?

So I've dusted the X off getting it back in the air!! I have 2 lipo batteries but it drives me crazy that they die so freaking fast!!!! I'm still learning/relearning this baby and by the time I'm getting a handle on things or I'm in the air, battery is dead. Is there any batteries that will last longer? how much longer? Is it possible to wire 2 batts in parallel for longer usage?

You can put battery's in parallel but the weight would be a problem.
Your best bet is to measure your battery's and search for ones with more capacity on ebay. The problem with this is there are thousands to look thru on ebay. Don

E-flite's 45C or the Lectron Pro 45C's will do great in the mSRX...

A bit longer flight time than the stock 25C, and better power

The first thing I would ask is the age of the batteries you have. I know I bought my MSRx second and he admitted it had been sitting around a while. I noticed very low flight times. I then got the 45C E-Flite batteries as replacements. The flight time was right back up to what I was expecting after reading the forums.

The only larger batteries I found are the 160 mAh battery shown in the middle of the pick. They are IP brand. I believe I got them on from a local hobby shop online.

Part#: OIT1S1P016025A.

I have looked for some 180 MAh batteries with no luck yet.

Angel will fly almost 12 minutes on 1 of them, without getting close to LVC.
