Default Extended solid tail boom question

I am a noob. I have had the 120 for a couple weeks. Crashed it today and split the tail boom. So I will be able to use the upgraded boom.
Is there a how to, on how to do install of extended solid boom? Cut and solder wires,replace wires, lengthen wires? Just looking for some tips thanks guys

Just get a replacement stock boom.

That's not what I asked sir, I got the extended boom with a lot, of parts I got on eBay would like to use it. I've seen the extended ones really make a difference. I have another stock one too but that's not what I want.

Extending your tail boom.
I did this document on extending MCPX tail boom. Give it a look maybe you can use
figure it out from there! https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=508335

That being said, 120SR is a good indoor very basic trainer and the tail holds fine in it's stock form. There is really no need to extend it or install a solid boom. This modification will likely
end up breaking the frame rather than the boom in a crash.
