Post IKON Tail Menu-Help!

I am a convert from my AR7200BX to IKON. I'm finding a few challenges with the tail servo setup.

I am setting up my DS8900g tail servo on my Trex 500 and when I set it to 1520/270 in the select tail servo, the frame on respective digital 1520 servo changes color and I use the slider to establish 270 from 200 frequency.

I move on through the menus and complete my setup and save my file on the pc. So far so good.....

Challenge #1: When I return to the look at the IKON again, the frame is no longer changed in color to identify my chosen tail servo HOWEVER it retains the 270 frequency.

Challenge #2: IN HH mode, I can set endpoints for my tail servo and direction is fine. I cycle through the menus and save. When I connect a second time my endpoints were not retained and the tail slider is hitting off to one side. I have done this several times with the same result. side.

Thanks in advance for your help...

I'm not positive but I think you have to click the arrow and move to the next "page" of the wizard to ensure the changes are saved to the unit. Can anyone confirm?

I have heard of this before, sounds like your iKON isn't saving settings. It should save real time. Try factory resetting the unit and trying again.

Thanks for the input, I will try a factory reset and using only the arrows for screen change. I'll report back with my results.

Try to do the changes in the advance menu... I have also seen values not storing in "basic" menu.

Question

I have reset twice and use the arrows for screen changes and the tail settings still do not save to the controller. I checked in the advance menu and they confirm the changes are not being saved for the tail. I am trying for the 1520 tail servo set to 270 freq. Everything else saves well. I am using Windows XP. Any other ideas???

Challenge #1: When I return to the look at the IKON again, the frame is no longer changed in color to identify my chosen tail servo HOWEVER it retains the 270 frequency

This is normal when altering the default setting. I'm using 1520/333 on my rappie 50. Box does not stay highlighted the next time I go in, but the freq is still 333 and the center pulse is still 1520.

Challenge #2: IN HH mode, I can set endpoints for my tail servo and direction is fine. I cycle through the menus and save. When I connect a second time my endpoints were not retained and the tail slider is hitting off to one side. I have done this several times with the same result. side.

I got no clue on this one! Perhaps try using advanced menu to adjust end points. It's servo number 4.

Thanks, I will give the tail endpoints in the Advanced Menu some time.
