was just looking at a thread below.

they make a 10mm longer shaft for the dfc n.

if this is the case why do they put a 169mm shaft with the kit ?

It's the way Align does business, they get loads of error reports and then sell you the fix as an upgrade.

I am not so sure that a longer main shaft is required based on the fact the original 700N only has two bearing blocks and that worked okay.

Welcome to the club.

You need this one:

What I have noticed is a lot of guys just fly the AGNH6NH001XX (comes in the kit and does not reach the 3rd bearing block) without problems.

It bothered me, so I bought the AGNH6NH002XX.

Hey guys I didn't want to start a new thread for this simple question and this seamed like a good a place as any.

Question is I have a 600n dfc .
In the instructions it shows to put a spacer ( kit comes with two different sizes ) under neath the welded collar on main shaft on top of main bearing block to take away any up and down play in mainshaft.
I was wondering if it would be ok to put the washer on top of the main gear wich would put right under the bottom bearing block. It would have exact same result exept it would make my main gear and auto rotation gear just a tad bit lower wich would lign up the auto gear to front torc tube gear just a little better.

Below is a few pictures of gear alignment.

If I put spacer on top of main gear instead on top of top bearing block in would lower gears slightly and lign up auto gear to tail gear a little better.

Has anyone done it that way.?
Is that a good idea.?
Or should I just leave it like it is and not worry about it .?
