Default Tarot ZYX.....

I had very low expectations for a 60 dollar gyro and was actually disappointed with it at first, it had very very low stability, felt terrible around center and the tail would kick on continous cyclic manuvers. Then... I hooked it up to the computer and started to play with the settings....

After a couple of hours of reading and testing i got it setup pretty nice. It flies awesome, i would say its easily on par with beastx, the tail and the cyclic and the piro comp all work very well, i was doing piroflips and tic tocs as well as piro circuits in 15+ mph wind with no issues. The pitch is on par with the beat and has no lag at all.

So if you want FBL on a budget i highly reccomend the zyx and the new tarot head. I got mine from oomodels,(who ship very slow BTW) but the best site to get it from would be cncheli.com , he has the best shipping ive have ever seen.

I had doubts about it too when I purchased one. I was thinking that the low cost one would only be good for a person just getting into FBl but I have a friend who can fly 3d pretty good and he has put both my heli's thru its paces and they a flying great. Still a little fine tuning and figuring out what settings do what but they are doing almost everything he is trying to do with the helps. I put my first one on a newly built 450 pro v2 FBL and then liked it so much that I bought another one and put it on my 600 nitro. I have converted from fly bar and it is so much better in my opinion. Bringing the old Raptor 50 back to life and putting one on it also.

I am still figuring out mine. I am still in the process of tuning in my zyx. The heli flies but there are still a few glitches and twitches. I purchased the programming box but I have not started playing with it. It is a lot different then the 3gx.

Hi Guys,

I too purchased this ZYX and am having a serious problem I wonder if you could help me with....Ch.1 on the gyro thinks it is a rudder servo even though Ch. 4 is connected to the tail.

Could you take a look at this vid. to see what my problem might be ?

Thanx
