DX8 ?? Stick controls ???

Well I just picked up a DX8 and for the life of me I cant figure out why the collective is being controlled by the elevator stick and the Throtle/Collective is controlling the throtle and doing elevator movements. I am totally stumped

Its on a Fury Extreme set to 3 servo 120 degree swash ..

Any one have any ideas?? Is this thing half way set up for mode 1 ?????

I just bought it new as a mode 2 heli radio from RC Hover ..

Must be set a mode other than 2.... switch it back to mode 2 (see manual). Update it to the latest firmware before you do anything (if it isn't already)

This is not halfway mode 1... This is full mode 1 :-)

Check the dx8 manual, I seem to remember that there are instructions in there how to switch modes...

The stick tension (changing which stick has the spring on it) is done on the back of the tx. The actual reversing of the channels is done in the tx software (under system settings)

Radio is set up for mode 2, I must have the servo's connected wrong somehow.

Ah... check the monitor screen to verify mode 2. Otherwise yeah you simply have channels mixed up.

Actually its been so long since I did any set up work I had a brain fart. Reversed the Elev servo and all is well. Its amazing how much stuff you can forget in a couple of years. Oh well thats why I love this hobby and just had to get back into it.
