Default N5 parts, tips

Looking at buying a used N5 from a friend. Just wondering how is parts availability? Any issues with the N5 i should be aware of? This would be the original N5.
Thanks in advance. :-)

Parts are more available than ever, and with all Synergy products gaining in popularity I can only guess they will even easier to get in the future. The only issue your N5 might have is the one way which was designed around a 50 engine, if you are using a 55 or higher you should get the N5c one way.

Parts between the N5 and the N5C are also interchangable. I just installed some of the N5C parts on my N5 to lighten it up.

The ones I order most of my parts from are Ron's Heli Proz South and Experiance RC
Both are excellent.

I have been ordering parts from fblrotors.com. The guy that operates it is Ralph. He has online ordering and you can also order by phone. He takes very good care of his customers.
I am building an E7 I purchased from him. Got a good deal. He was actually out of them at the time. He had Matt ship me one directly. Had it in hand in two days. He was recommended by one of the team pilots.
I am in the process of upgrading my N5 to an N5C. Well at least most of the parts. He is putting that together for me as well.
