Default bounce arounds

just thought i'd post on these as i dont think anyone has yet. not sure its got a name so i made one up. basically just a very high energy, steep angled forward flipping circuit but its sufficiently different from slow ones to merit a name.. very dynamic and fun to do. its a bit like the diamond loop, done horizontally. looks hard, and is definitely tricky at first, but once you get the corrections dialed in for all the orientations, and get them powering round hard, its actually pretty easy to do them sustainably without dropping down. in the vid i do them figure 8 and backwards. i do the backwards badly here, but you can get the idea. the clever transition between the circuits in the 8 is very cool.

rc heli manuever. the bounce around, fig 8 BA and backwards BA (1 min 9 sec)

I might call that a "Tigger"...

I do these constantly when simming. Not sure why but they always end up in the repertoire. Keeping the flight level while continuously doing them is the catch. As usual timing is everything until it isn't

Looks like a flipping circuit/circle

it is, as i said in my first post. its just there such a big difference in feel between a controlled and gentle flipping circuit done with disk flat and this high energy version where the disk is so canted over you have to 'power' violently between each section to make it work, with great timing and control of angles as well. it looks very cool and i think it deserve a unique name .

I'm so focused on collective, circuits are a serious challenge. I keep cyclic pitch in the direction of movement constant. Timing of collective controls speed and direction of movement in addition to level. I take it as a challenge to see how long it can be sustained. It's only a matter of time till the brain tires out and the timing goes off.

yup its a lot of effort to do several circuits without making a mistake. each leap you have to adjust the disk angle a little to account for changes in speed, circuit circumference etc, not to mention timing the collective pumps and amounts accurately. saying that, the front versions both ways i can do pretty consistently. once you get into the correct groove, it kind of locks in. ive done them a bit at the field too although not at a very aggressive angle. i think it helps alot to vary the circuit speed, angle etc, from flat to aggressive. its like really learning how to really control a piro hover both inverted and upright. you get total mastery when to learn to piro while moving the heli sidewways and backwards, and up and down. and can flip between and flatten the disk in an instant snap movement from any position
