I'm really wanting some Gens Ace packs, but they've been out of stock for a long time. Same goes for the Pulse batteries which are supposed to be the same. I can't afford Thunder Power, and I think HK's shipping costs are outrageous.

What are my options?

What about Hobby King from a USA warehouse? That's what I did with my last two battery orders.

Even then I feel the shipping is too high. They want $17 USPS Priority to ship me six 3S 2200mah Turnigys.

I refuse to pay their shipping charges.
I think they make more on the shipping than the product.

I just bought 2 Gens Ace packs and got free shipping.

Where did you get your Gens Ace from? The only place I've found that has them in stock is RotorQuest in Canada.

I buy them from HobbyPartz.
I get them next day here in California.
I kept an eye on their inventory and ordered as soon as I saw any.

I placed an order with HK for 2 batts. One for my SR and one for my CX2, both Zippy batts. This was on June 6th. So now they tell me that both have been back ordered. They sent an email to let me know this and wanted to know if I wanted to cancel the order and then re-orded from the Aus. warehouse. Why don't they send them from the Aus. warehouse in the first place !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, might get them before the Snow Flies !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .
