Hex drive starter adapter for the nitro
Does anybody know of Another hex starter shaft adapter that will work on the mostro nitro. The metal is too soft and my starter shaft keeps rounding off inside there and I can't find them anywhere . I've been through two already

I think we need to look more closely at the clutch assembly. That isn't right.
I've destroyed an assembly (pinion, bearing, hollow shaft) once and also had to replace all bearings a second time due to hydrolocking and my starter having too much torque on 6s (i dropped it to 4s to help with that). Both instances the shaft didn't need replaced. Maybe pictures would help explain your problem.

Using a Sullivan starter with Sullivan drive(18v Mikita battery) starts heli fine but when I have trouble starting the motor( like a had a bad glow plug yesterday ) the adapter gets hot and freeze on my starter shaft. It jumps the gap between the flats and wedges itself on the drive. I'm pretty sure my alignment is good and when I pulled the motor last time the bearings in the starter/clutch housing felt fine. When I get the heli started normally on the quick starter shot it's fine but the longer cranks it overheats and the metal seems to weaken on the hex adapter ( and I don't mean really long cranks)

This has been addressed, The new starter shaft cup is now made stronger, I was having the same issue and I have now yet to have any issues with the new one.
Carbonxtreme.com has been notifying people they should be starting to ship orders and have inventory sometime this week or next.
