It's smaller than the stock 520, but it's a lot better, so you will be very happy with one. All you have to do is center it in the tray and bolt it down like normal. Love mine to death!

you'll be fine, my stock esc is set up with hs5065's with a 3500g. been running that set up for a little over a year now and the tail holds and responds as instructed.... you will love that servo!

I agree. No step-down on mine, well over a year in service, not a single problem/issue yet. It may operate a little better with the regulator though. I know my full-size servos rated at 4.8 run like crapola on 6V. I tried it both ways before and it didn't do anything noticeably different on my machine, so it may be a case-by-case thing. I had to put the reg on my 500 (8900G tail servo) and never got another one for the 450.

My Align BEC output is 5.5v and I use a homemade stepdown from a diode. It works great, keep the servo cool all the time.

Yep, it's my favorite mini tail servo. Only the Outrage one had better specs in the size, but I haven't had a chance to try one yet. I just got all Torq servos for my 6HV, so we'll see how MKS does as a manufacturer.
