Newbie in ohio

Hey dudes,
Im in northeast Ohio and fell into this hobby last December while at the hobby store with money to burn. Bought a mcx and was startled to find I could keep it in the air! Well, turns out I caught the ole chopper bug and needed to feed it msrx and mcpx's for breakfast. I love this site for info (mcpx for sure) and want to personally thank all of you for your collective help ( no pun intended!). My first MCPX was flown into a moving car tire and despite the array of jokes I made of it , none of them made me laugh. It made me learn how to scratch build and maybe that's the punch line!! Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome and help! I'll be posting my scratch built helis and quadcopters soon. I am also into rc cars. I love making custom things and am always thinking of the next project. RC OSPREY is the current goal. SIGH . Has anyone attempted this? If so, let me in on your experience of plane and chopper props!
