Thanks George

Nice that gear sounds great. Tapping the hole for the extra set screw is something that could be done in the home work shop. The whiplash may get to fly once again.

Hi Kevinbj,

Try the RJX Gasser mainshaft. It has 10mm, the holes are slightly off, but should work, give it a try. You may need to set up the linkages at the mainrotor anew.

You can get it at:
http://olivershobbies.ecrater.com/p/...shaft-in-stock (US)
or http://www.ercmarket.com/main-shaft-...t90-61115.html (Belgium, Europe)
or google XT90-61115.

Be sure not to confuse it with the EP90-61115, which is for the electric version of the RJX 90 only.

Kind regards
George

IMO, the gear A 1Z 2MYZ1002706 from sdp-si.com is the easiest way to go. I ordered one to check and it is almost identical. It has a brass insert which is prefferable to acetal only for setscrews. You will only have to tap a hole for a second setscrew. Stock it only comes with one, which I would not want to rely on. Maybe grind off a little from the hub. That's it.

Kind regards
George
I ended up getting the gear from sdp-si and your right it is almost identical. Had to grind/sand the upper part of the hub down and also the lower side of the gear need about 1mm off it to clear the torque tube gear. (Set screw is a little higher up on the hub). Haven't tapped a second grub screw hole yet as I need to get a hold of a tap.

Good day, Has anyone found a source for the Torque tube? I need one. Is the RJX Gasser mainshaft a good replacement for the mainshaft?

Thanks
Keith Smith

Ron has the 131-18 tt-side-bevels in stock, I do not want to interfere with his business.

It will take at least until Easter. Shipping would be from Europe, should be approx. 7,-- Euros worldwide with registered mail, but have to check that back.
Payment would be via paypal in Euros. Price is not sure yet.

Anyone intrested? Please let me know and I will see what I - or better my friend - can do.

Kind regards
George
Hi,
Is it still available to buy MA 131-18 and 131-17 gears. If yes is it possible to send 5 of each in France?
Regards,
Joël

Cordialement,
Joël
