So what sort of 130C packs are you getting to generate this nauseating power?

Evidently, one would burn a set of packs for a two minute speed trial. Kinda like they do in the NHRA. Burn up an engine running 90% nitromentane (8,000 horsepower) for 4 seconds. Did 330 mph, for 4 seconds! Yeeee Haaaaaw!

Perhaps it won't really be all that bad. I just want the Compass motor, and for it to outperform the HKIII 4035-560 by 20% or so. I'll be happy enough!

What if it's only 19.99% better?

I'd go for it, Dom. Then again, with my flying, it wouldn't really matter. I'd never know the difference!

I have been half waiting half saving for a 7HV since Nov. Taco order up a motor and push the release of the motor up for those of us waiting

So far I have my servos(torq) and ESC(HW120), still need a V-bar and the kit with motor. I have been tempted to put a bid in on a 700MX 510 but have resisted the urge.

This is pretty funny...talk about some dudes prime for the release...we got everything from Heavy Duty Velcro, YGE speedos, Torq servos, reports of impending insanity, nausea, and a whole damn squadron of 7HV's ready to take on the world as soon as that friggin' motor hits the streets. Whoa!

Bring it!

Hey Rob, have you flown the Compass 700 blades yet? Just wondering if I should get a bare airframe or include the blades.

+1 especially that they already have our money.

I'm glad I got myself a Hacker in the meanwhile though. It's been a loooong wait already.

No, sir. I am thinking I'd like to get a set this spring. I think several of the team have, though. Maybe they will chime in. I hear they are on par with the other blades, but of course, about $20-$30 less expensive. And they make the cool Compass "halo" when flying them.

Just what I'd expect from a rodent. Perhaps one that's a PhD EE, but a rodent, nonetheless. Hahahahah!
