Default The first MD 3D heli cup

I believe this to be the first MD sponsored 3D event . I can't understand the language so I can't confirm anything or any details but there are tons of photos that I found very interesting nonetheless . I've never seen so many MD's in a single location . I also found interesting the unique custom canopies and color variations/combinations some people have on their MD's . In the very first group photo I think the gentleman in the yellow shirt right in the middle is the MD boss and that maybe Sam right next to him but again I maybe wrong so please don't hold me to it . Quite a lot of photos are posted in the article so just click on them to enlarge . Enjoy !

I also found a few informational links to the new MD5 and MD6 canopies as well as the new triple blade main head assembly for the MD7 and MD8 and the new triple blade tail assemblies available for all the MD helis . I wish I knew how to translate them as it looks like an interesting read . Maybe you have better luck than me lol .

I agree they look great . I like how it extends quite a bit in the rear over the tail boom . What do you think of the black/yellow/orange/green canopy for the MD8 ? I'm eyeing that one ...

If you are talking about this one, I like it but haven't flown it yet so I don't know how it looks in the air.

Yes sir that would be the one ! Man it's a great looking canopy . I guess we'll have to wait and see how it looks like visibility wise in the air . It shouldn't be too bad with those bright colors .
