Default POST A PIC OF YOUR MSR

All the other threads have one so we should to

I know a lot of peoples looks the same but since the clear canopy mod, which can be painted, the carbon canopies, and people painting the stock ones, let's get some pictures up y'all!

Post a picture of your bird, your setup, any significant mods done, and what you think is the best upgrade.

mSR with his big brother. Mods include shortened swash and flybar, painted canopy, horizontal stabilizer (i know it doesn't do anything, but looks cool) and hyperion 160mah batts.

It is the Cusker mSR Aluminum Performance Kit.
Performance is improved, but with short swashplate arms it's better, very impressive

You have to cut off all the uniballs from plate, then insert the aluminium collar.

Here is a better image.

Some of you need to reduce the size of your image. I get tired of seeing pictures that are so big their off the side of the HeliFreak's boarders.
Helicopters and pictures are nice, but please reduce your image size to fit properly! Thank you!

Here's mine next to it's bigger brother.

My mSR will be down due to no 5in1 but does anyone know if paint thinner can remove the stock canopy paint or do I need to buy clear?

I wouldn't put any paint thinner...you might melt the canopy!

Some people have used the packaging that comes with the spare canopies. You might want to try that. You'll have to trim it really good, and find some glue that'll stick the two halves together. It's tricky, but it's doable.

i have done several canopies like that, using the packaging, just plasti-zap holds the halves perfectly just use the right paint and some clear coat and your set

thanks for posting guys it helps all of us get ideas for customizing too!

Default Fatso and Blueberry

Fatso:
-The kitchen sink...

She still flies great with around 6 min. flight times out of 160s

Blueberry:

A little more performance minded;
-MH vertical
-cut down FB paddles
-playing with the 4#3 blades, jury's still out on those
-as my medical education lets me, I plan on building a short flybar and doing the swash arms
