No charge for spectators, only a small donation for parking that will go to the American Diabetes Association. But if you're a pilot why not bring bring a heli register and fly. It's a great place to fly and meet people; and the event depends on registered pilots to survive.

Either way you should have a great time.

Just registered.

Don't know if I will bring a heli, as there could be up to four of us driving 400 miles in a single vehicle.

Just wondering how this event handles the pilots, flying, etc. Is the parking area close to the pit area? Is the pit area secured, as in are helis and equipment guarded while you're not flying and roaming around the site? Do pilots have time slots to fly?

Sorry for all the questions. I've only ever been to small fun fly's.

Last year parking was along the flight line which was about 1900 or so feet long. I do not know if they're going to use the runway for anything. I can't answer your other questions. I didn't fly there last year and was only there Friday.

That notice has been up for a while. One would think they'd fill up fast but you might have to email Bid D with that question.

As much as I'd like to take part in the advanced class, I'm keeping money set aside for the Spartan FBL unit. The trip alone will cost a few hundred, add in the cost of the school and it would approach a grand.

I hope they offer the training again next year, this way I can plan on it.
