Default YGE120HV mounting

Just wanted to show off my new heatsink mount, since once installed nobody would ever see it

I'm pretty proud of it, 4 hours from design to part, everything within .001", not that it needed to be that precise at all. Not too bad being done on a home built machine not designed for Aluminum.

I know it wont be as effective as the real YGE heatsink because it doesn't make contact with the sides of the PCB where most of the heat is, but I never had issues with heat without the heatsink before, so its better than nothing, and much better than double sided tape mounting to the stock plate.

Also working on a new boom support clamp with pushrod guide built in, uses one of the stock pushrod guide tubes that sits in O-rings with a G-10 clamp plate to allow some flex. I tried doing a mount similar to other heli's and now understand why Gerd has the Delrin tube/O-ring guides, since the pushrod isn't exactly parallel to the boom the guides need some flex or you get binding. Problem is exposed O-rings in AZ last weeks at best. As shown the pushrod is silky smooth and has less span between the guide and ball links as the 7HV, which works fine with the same size carbon tube.

I wont be making more of the YGE mounts, but do have plans to make the boom support clamps.
