Default 500X Lower Price Yet

According to HH email, the 500X is now $499.99. Doesn't say if it's discontinued.

I don't believe they will discontinue the 500x but there will be a revamped version, maybe even Pro series kit. The 500 size market is still a pretty good seller. Only problem was the pricing on the 500x. If I can source on here for $500 I might just get one.

If you figure Eflie battery value at $60 to $80, the $499.00 500X is arguably a better value than the $249.00 500 3D.

I also keep coming up with the wrong answer. I buy the good sale and a better sale comes along.

Well, actually $325.00 for the 450X (though not at HH), but point well taken.

Pacific Coast Hobbies has the http://www.ebay.com/itm/E-flite-Blad...item540235b0cf

I went ahead and ordered one since HH has them backordered and may never get them in stock again since they've apparently been discontinued. You can pickup two (2) of the blue Turnigy 30C 3000mah batteries on Hobbyking for less than $100. So in my opinion the 500 3D is still the best overall deal right now, as long as you don't plan to convert it to FBL (I'll happily just leave mine as FB).

Or you can just buy a 300X for $249. Basically the price of the AR7200BX. Kind of hard to beat.

They might even go lower when the new one comes out. Been considering a back up, just watching for another great deal.

Wizzard,
What scale fuselage? The Bell 222, or something else.

I have one of the Align Airwolf fuselage I am using. This has been a long term project (3yrs) due to getting custom paint (auto paint) done on the fuselage and time to work on it of course.
