Did the Tony W "epoxy the b gear" mod yesterday. Flew three packs today... Been working on inverted flight-took her up pretty high and went inverted... Was able to keep her pretty steady, went back upright and did it again a few times... Woohoo! No crashes!

I killed a cyclic servo tonight. I cleaned it. Dropped it on the towel while I had it apart and damaged the "fingers" on the mechanism. They snagged on the towel. Now it won't find center. What a bummer. I wanted to try the Spin 8800

I'll take the servos and the 4-n-1. The other guys can have the rest. Deal?

Did some tree trimming. Cut a corner a bit wide(20mph winds) and clipped off a branch about the size of me little finger, turned a few leaves into confetti on the way by, and it disturbed the path of the heli not one bit.
I'm thinking of a new sport:
3d hedge trimming. Judged for time, style, and accuracy of hedge animal depicted.
Maybe we could get it added to the Olympic lineup?

You may have to sign a medical release when buying tho...

Yes I can envision it in my head. I thought of Edward ScissorHands and the hedge trimming he did in that movie. Heck - That still make me giggle inside, I find it humorous.

Rotor blades by Troybuilt.
You might be right about signing a medical release.
Hey, sell it to the military. Stick a streaming video camera in it and you could use it for stealth assassination. Squads of 130x cruising by with "death from above" stenciled on the side.

Soooo ... today i was flying and mid flip the elevator locked up .... and SMACK!! RIght into the sidewalk ... and i was like "Oh this is going to be expensive".

Welp, no damage other than a MESSED UP canopy. The elevator servo is completely dead, i already cleaned it. So i called HH and they wont send me a new servo so it looks like im going to need to head to the lhs for a servo and a canopy. Great time to get orange KBDD blades and the red canopy!!

Im going on vacation till Sunday night so i will get to the LHS on monday ...

And i was going to bring the little guy on vacation with me ...

Oh well ...

Just replaced the yellow/blue canopy it came with for the red/yellow one. It lookes much better and goes very well with the yellow blades on it.

Ordered every piece that lynx makes for tail and rotor head. Both in stock and pre-order. I have never ordered that much Bling before at one time. My wife is gonna retaliate by going shopping when she finds out. Oh well.

Ordered mine today.

Will have to wait on it till I get back from training halfway across the country next Friday.

Ordered a full lynx tail assembly and swashplate too to be rotated in if (when) things break. No point to switch them till then unless i have bad vibe issues that i cant fix. Already have received a set of boca bearings as well.

Have held off for as long as I could, want to start working with a bigger bird. This one will do nicely. It's my first bigger bird (the old 120sr doesn't count), so I'll be bugging y'all when I get stuck. Seems to be in a different league than my mcpx flock.

RKH tail case and pitch slider. So far, solid +1 to each. Very nicely made.

I was trying to make custom canopy for it out of the spare canopy package. But the ultra thin CA glue went all over the clear plastic and ruined it.
luckily for me though, I like the red/yellow canopy I got for it anyway. I think I'll get white skids for it and paint them to match.

Slammed into a tree, actually no time for throttle hold. Broke the swash, lost the left servo link, and the left servo was ripped from the frame.
I'm gonna do like everyone else, blame the mechanical system, and use it as an excuse for some bling.
Need a new Lynx main grips and hub, swashplate, Rakon tail housing, tail grips, Lynx tail shaft.
THAT'LL keep it from happening again.
