Default Walkera Set up

Hello guys,

I am pretty new to all this helicopter stuff so please bare with me. Several years ago I received a Walkera for Christmas. Today I finally got it out to try and fly it. With the tail pointing at me on power up the helicopter starts to turn to the left. I have tried to adjust the transmitter with no luck. Is there a way to correct this left turn?

Thanks

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery meaning restart the heli turning on the transmitter first make sure you dont touch while the gyro is intializing after few beeps everything will be armed you can then give it a try and see if the problem still exists other take a look at the tail servo and move the stick left and right to see the movement.

What model Walkera heli is it? Which model TX do you have? You are posting in the 4#6 thread but you're saying you got the heli several years ago.
If you can take some pics, they may be helpful.

Default Figured It Out!!

I finally found what looks to be my helicopter online. It is a Walkera Dragonfly 1#B. Yesterday I was planning on working on the left turn issue but, one of the Li-Po batteries failed. Now I only have 3.6V so I will have to buy a new battery pack today.
